Hello and welcome, my name is Raymond Sinibaldi. I am passionate about life! My passions include baseball, writing, history, teaching, golf and above all love. This blog gives me the opportunity to incorporate five of those passions for I love baseball, I love to write, I love history, I love to teach and I am a hopeless romantic! I am a baseball fan who loves the Red Sox. That’s an important difference from being simply a Red Sox fan. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I have lived and died with the Red Sox since my first trip to Fenway in the summer of 1959, but being a baseball fan allowed me to appreciate the game played at its highest level no matter the uniform. My passion for baseball and the Red Sox has brought me to coauthor two books, The Babe in Red Stockings published in 1997 and Images of America, Fenway Park published in 2012. What has followed is Spring Training in Bradenton and Sarasota, in 2013, The 1967 Red Sox Impossible Dream Season in 2014 and The 1975 Red Sox American League Champions in 2015. I am honored to say that I consulted with the magical sculptor the late Franc Talarico as he sculpted the “Jimmy Fund” statue of Ted Williams which stands outside both Fenway Park and Jet Blue Park, Fenway South in Fort Myers Florida. It is all of this and the immeasurable inspiration of a dear friend which has led me here. So welcome aboard, enjoy and if you are so inclined participate in my meanderings across the landscape of baseball and life.

I had no idea…lol! This is great and to think that what I know about baseball I learned from you. I just learned something else from reading this blog…Fenway is female. : )
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Chris Wilson and I am an 8th grader at Timbercrest Junior High in Woodinville, Washington. I am currently doing a National History Day (NHD) project on Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier for professional athletics. It would be very helpful if I could get permission to use your photo of Jackie Robinson and Peewee Reese turning a double play for my project. I found the picture on this website, https://fenwaypark100.org/2012/03/08/each-time-a-man-stands-up-for-an-ideal-or-acts-to-improve-the-lot-of-others-or-strikes-out-against-injustice-he-sends-forth-a-tiny-ripple-of-hope-and-crossing-each-other-from-a-million-dif/
This will be used for educational use only. Thank you for considering this request.

No problem Chris.
No problem Chris.
Any idea how I could get a print of the patriots playing at Fenway?
Try Patriot Place.
